Annie Allen Smith

Mrs. Annie Belle Allen Smith, age 77 of Shelby, NC, passed away September 4, 2014 at White Oak Manor Nursing Home, Shelby. Memorial services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Cleveland Funeral Services and Crematory Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date at Cleveland Memorial Park.
She is survived by a son, Jerry Smith, Jr. and wife Linda of Shelby, NC, a sister, Nancy Spurlin of Fallston, NC, three grandkids and two great grandkids of Shelby, NC.
Born April 20, 1937 in Mooresboro, NC, Mrs. Smith was the daughter of the late Toy Gilbert Sr. and Laura Chapel Allen and was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Smith, Jr., a son, Thomas Smith, four brothers, Toy Allen, Jr., Bill Allen, Frank Allen, and Fred Allen. Ann loved cooking and spending time with her family.
