Betty Shirah

Mrs. Betty Kay Shirah, age 74 of Shelby, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Wendover Hospice in Shelby.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, W. Edward Shirah of the home, two daughters, Cindy Nunnery and husband Jeff, and Lisa Warren and husband Banzen, both of Shelby, NC, four grandchildren, Jed and Luke Nunnery and Sierra and Eliza Warren, and a brother, Richard Byars of Shelby, NC.
Born April 11, 1941 in Spartanburg, SC, Mrs. Shirah was the daughter of the late Jack and Grace (Wilson) Byars and was preceded in death by an infant son, Willie Edward Shirah, Jr.
