Bouaphanh Somoulav

Bouaphanh Himpaphanh Somoulay, age 54, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away peacefully February 15, 2017 at Carolinas Medical Center, Pineville.
Survivors include her husband, Vannasy Somoulay of the home, sisters, Somchanh Sonvichit and Bouavanh Sinnorai, a brother, Souksavath Tim Himpaphanh, four nieces, Juanita Sinnorai, Keomala Sinnorai, Tiffany Himpaphanh, and Jennifer Himpaphanh, three nephews, Timothy Himpaphanh, Anthony Sonvichit, and Somphet Sonvichit and a grandcat Roket.
Born February 10, 1963 in Laos, she was the daughter of the late Pheng and Nang Himpaphanh and was preceded in death by a brother, Bay Himpaphanh.
Mrs. Somoulay was a member of Wat Lao Houeikeo Indharam Buddhist Temple. She enjoyed cooking for her community and growing vegetables in her garden.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 17, 2017 at Cleveland Funeral Services. A traditional Laotian funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Cleveland Funeral Services.
