Dick Howell

January 22, 1941 — April 29, 2014

Richard "Dick" Nelson Howell Sr., 73 passed away April 29, 2014 at his home. Born January 22, 1941, he was the son of the late James Howell and Mamie Correll Howell.

Mr. Howell was a native of Ft. Oglethorpe Ga., Catoosa County, and was the owner
and operator of Howell's Welding Service. Mr. Howell was of the Baptist Faith
and also served in the U. S. Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Jimmie
Howell, Billy T. Howell, James "Dud" Howell; and sister, Peggy Mullinax.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Esther Lineberger Howell of the home;
son and daughters-in-law, William "Billy" Luther Howell and Amy of Shelby,
Richard "Dicky" Nelson Howell Jr. and Kim of Shelby; grandchildren, B.J. Howell,
Tiffany Howell, Bella Howell, Autumn Howell, Logan Howell, Caleb Venable and
Clay Venable.
