Doris Lloyd

Mrs. Doris M. Lloyd, age 72 of Lattimore, NC, passed away Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Wendover Hospice House. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 17, 2015 at 3:00 pm at Lafayette Street United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Arthur Holland. A visitation will be held from 1:30 - 3:00 pm prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.
She is survived by her two children, Kathy Price and husband Robby of Mooresboro, NC, and Steve Lloyd of Kings Mountain, NC, two grandchildren, Amber Price of Mooresboro, NC and Misty Hargett and husband Jon of Mooresboro, NC, five great grandchildren, Kimberly Jamison, Dayshon Jamison, Maysin Hargett, Madyline Hargett, and Jahlil Avery, a niece, Angela Webb and husband Butch of Lattimore, NC, a nephew, Mike London and wife Linda of Lattimore, NC, a great nephew, Justin Webb and wife Stephanie and their child Luke, a sister-in-law, Helen Mauney of Lattimore, NC, and a special lifelong friend, Sheila Sisk.
Born February 2, 1943 in Cleveland County, Mrs. Lloyd was the daughter of the late Melvin and Edna (Black) Mauney and was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Mauney and a sister, Betty London.
