Edna Wilson Lee

Mrs. Edna Brooks Wilson Lee, age 96 of Shelby, NC, passed away Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at White Oak Manor of Tryon. A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Monday, June 29, 2015 at Cleveland Memorial Park.
She is survived by her son, Ronald Clay Wilson and wife Petesy of Columbus, NC, a step-son, John Drewery Lee and wife Phyllis of Baton Rouge, LA, a step-daughter, Betsey L. Greer and husband Bill of Jamestown, NC, a sister, Marjorie Brooks Robinson and husband Fred of Shelby, NC, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Born November 14, 1918 in Cleveland County, Mrs. Lee was the daughter of the late Early Coleman and Bessie Callahan Brooks and was preceded in death by her two husbands, Clay D. Wilson and Thomas Plato Lee, three brothers, Dorce Irvin Brooks, Henry Norris Brooks, and Eulice Dwight Brooks, and a sister, Mildred Brooks Wilkes.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Double Springs Baptist Church, Shelby.
