Eloy Rosado, a dedicated individual who served his community with unwavering commitment, passed away peacefully in Shelby. Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, on February 14, 1945, Eloy leaves behind a legacy filled with compassion, diligence, and love for his family and friends.


Throughout his life, Eloy held the position of Superintendent of Water Pollution Control Authority in the City of Bridgeport, Connecticut for an impressive 28 years where he retired. His contributions to environmental protection and public service have left a lasting impact on the community he served. Additionally, Eloy devoted his time as a Ministerial Servant at the Spanish congregation of Jehovah Witness of Shelby, where he found solace in faith and shared his beliefs with others.


Eloy Rosado will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Ana Rosa Perez Rosado, his children Yesenia Rosado and Alex Rosado, grandson Ezekiel Rosado, as well as numerous brothers and sisters. He was preceded in death by his father Flores Rosado and mother Felicita Bermudez Rosado.


Eloy's presence was felt by all who knew him, as he touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity. His memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
