Evon Ralph Queen, Jr.

Mr. Evon Ralph Queen, Jr. age 89, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2024 at White Oak Manor of Kings Mountain. A native of Lincoln County, he was born September 16, 1934, son of the late Evon Ralph Queen Sr. and Mary Eunice Edwards Queen. 

Mr. Queen is survived by his wife, Jessie Owens Queen, two daughters, Leisa Keller and husband Rick of Mooresville, NC and Lynn Mullinax of Shelby, two grandchildren, Megan Keller of Surfside Beach, SC and Katlyn Ransom and husband Caleb of Livingston, Montana.

Mr. Queen was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses for over 73 years.

Memorial Service will be held 2pm, Saturday June 29, 2024 at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Shelby.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that memorial donations be made to Hospice of Cleveland County 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby NC 28150 or The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 155 W. Ross Grove Road Shelby NC 28150.
