Harvey Childress Sr.

Mr. Harvey Allen Childress Sr., age 77 of Boiling Springs, NC, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Testa Family Hospice in Kings Mountain.
He is survived by his children, Tina Guffey and husband Jim of Shelby, NC, Nina Acosta and husband Gilbert of Foot Hills Ranch, CA, Susie Childress of Orlando, FL, and Harvey Allen Childress, Jr., of Orlando, FL, five grandchildren, Katrina, Cori, Troy, Brittany, and Reid, four great grandchildren, Taya, Devyon, Camron, Carter, and two twins on the way, and a sister.
Born March 3, 1941 in Portsmouth, VA, Harvey was the son of the late William Harvey Childress and Amy Elizabeth Walton Childress and was preceded in death by a sister.
Harvey retired after 26 years from the United States Air Force where he was a photographer. He enjoyed being on the water. He will be missed by those that knew him.
