Iverson Bramlett

April 11, 1923 — December 25, 2017

Mr. Iverson "Dood" Bramlett, 94 of Lattimore, passed away Monday, December 25, 2017 at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC.
He is survived by his two sons, Jimmy L. Bramlett and wife Martha of Davidson, NC, and Robert Bramlett of Shelby, NC, three grandchildren, Kristi Leming and husband Casey of Gastonia, NC, Frances Anne Bramlett and Rose Mary Bramlett, both of Davidson, NC, a Great Granddaughter, Rhaegan Leming of Gastonia, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born April 11, 1923 in Jackson County, GA, Mr. Bramlett was the son of the late Emery Bramlett and Hattie Hooupagh McSwain and Otis McSwain and was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years, Anne Mae Jones Bramlett, two sisters, Florence Holland and Betty Willets and his brother, Allen "Bud" Bramlett.
Mr. Bramlett served in the United States Army as a Combat Medic during WWII. He later worked and retired from Bost Bakery in Shelby. After retirement, he enjoyed working in the garden and sharing his crops with others.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Cleveland Funeral Services conducted by Rev. Billy Cooper. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lattimore Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.
