Janie Bolin

   Mary Jane “Janie” Bolin, age 62 of Shelby, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby.

   She is survived by a sister, Nettie Mullinax of Shelby, NC, and a brother, Robert Bolin and wife Linda of Blacksburg, SC.  Born December 30, 1960, in Cleveland County, NC, Janie was the daughter of the late William Perry Bolin and Leona Turner Bolin and was preceded in death by four brothers, Dean Bolin, Jimmy Bolin, Steve Bolin, and John Bolin.

   Janie enjoyed carpentry and creating art projects.  She also enjoyed fishing and spending time with her family and friends.  Janie worked at Doran Textiles for more than 20 years.  She will be dearly missed by all that knew her. 

   A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, September 29, 2023, at Cleveland
Funeral Services conducted by Rev. Johnny Owens and Rev. Jerry Allen.  A visitation will be held from 1:00pm – 2:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Cook Memorial Gardens.
