Lavonne Collins

Mrs. Lavonne Putnam Collins, age 80 of Shelby, NC, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, March 27, 2015 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel. A visitation will be held from 2:00 - 3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.
She is survived a daughter, Kay Hastings and husband Dennis, three grandchildren, Chad Hastings (Joy), Jason Hastings (Tessa), and Lee Collins, five great grandchildren, Clay, Dylan, Madison, Darci, and Titus Hastings, a brother, Duke Everhart (Sandy), and two special sister-in-laws, Colleen Hawkins and Betty Allen.
Born May 16, 1934 in Cleveland Co., Mrs. Collins was the daughter of the late Clyde Sr. and Grace (McCraw) Putnam and was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Louis Collins and a son, Donnie Collins.
