Lona Hawkins

Lona Mae Harris Hawkins, 95, of Mooresboro, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Testa Hospice House, Kings Mountain. She was born on March 28, 1922, in Cleveland County.
She is survived by two daughters-in-law, Shelain Hawkins and Nellie Hawkins; 5 grandchildren, Michelle Fowler, Lesley Bradley, Wesley Hawkins, Kelly Hawkins, Matthew Paxton; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arland Hawkins and sons Larry and Steve Hawkins.
Mrs. Hawkins was a lifetime member of Camps Creek Baptist Church in Mooresboro.
Her funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, April 24, 2017 at Camps Creek Baptist Church with Pastor Buddy Morehead officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service. Interment will be at Cleveland Memorial Park.
