Marjorie White

Marjorie Blanton White, age 74, of Shelby, died on Sunday, February 2, 2014, at Carolina Care in Cherryville. A native of Cleveland County, she is the daughter of the late Sherman Blanton and Arvie Blanton Blanton. Ms. White previously worked at PPG Industries for many years. She was a member of Caroleen Congregational Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald White and her brother Larry Blanton.

Marjorie is survived by two brothers, Eugene Blanton of Rutherfordton and Jerry Wayne Blanton and wife Betty of Shelby; one sister, Rebecca McCorkle and husband Larry of Lincolnton; three step children and several step grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
