Mary Frances Jaycox, a beloved member of her community and cherished by all who knew her, passed away on February 13, 2024, at Atrium Health - Cleveland. She was born on November 29, 1948, in Jackson County, Ohio to Ernest Dutch Lahrmer and Rosa Strickland Lahrmer.

Mary had a fulfilling career at Wallace Computer Service where she worked for many years and made countless lifelong friends. Her warm and gentle nature was evident to all those she encountered. Mary's kind spirit embodied the qualities of a true Proverbs 31 lady. She possessed an inherent sweetness that touched the hearts of everyone she met.

One of Mary's greatest passions in life was quilting. She found joy in creating intricate quilt designs and would eagerly attend quilting gatherings throughout the year at a family retreat in Ohio. These gatherings served as an opportunity not only to pursue her beloved craft but also to deepen familial bonds and create lasting memories.

Mary's love for her family knew no bounds. Her son, Todd Jaycox, and grandson, Dutch Jaycox, were the apples of her eye. The joy they brought to her life was immeasurable, providing her with endless love and happiness. However, when her loving husband Robert Lee Jaycox, affectionately known as Bob, passed away suddenly in 2009, Mary experienced an indescribable loss. A piece of her heart went with him, leaving her longing for their reunion.

Now, Mary has experienced the ultimate reunion. As she peacefully passed away to be with the Lord, she is reunited not only with her heavenly Father but also with the love of her life, Bob. Their eternal love story continues in the realms beyond our mortal comprehension.

In addition to Todd and Dutch Jaycox, Mary is survived by her brother Darrell Roger Lahrmer of Kings Mountain and sister Carol Jean Blackburn of Oak Hill, Ohio. Her presence in their lives brought immeasurable love and light, and her memory will forever be cherished by those closest to her.

Mary Frances Jaycox leaves behind a legacy of kindness, grace, and unwavering love. Her gentle spirit and warm smile served as a guiding light to all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for the profound impact she had on the lives she touched.

As we bid farewell to Mary, let us celebrate a life well-lived and find solace in knowing that she has found eternal peace in the loving embrace of her Lord. May her memory inspire us to cherish every moment, spread love wherever we go, and live with the same kind-heartedness that defined Mary's extraordinary life.
