Mary Maney

Mrs. Mary Ann Jenkins Maney, age 78 of Shelby, NC, passed away Friday, October 16, 2015 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center.
She is survived by two children, Sharon Lane and husband Keith of Mooresboro, NC, and Keith Maney and wife Ginger of Shelby, NC, four grandchildren, Amber Philbeck and husband Clifton, Justin Lane, Ryan Maney, and Alex Maney, a great granddaughter, Macy Lane Philbeck, a sister, Linda Mills and husband Richard of Stanley, NC and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Born August 31, 1937 in Gaston County, Mrs. Jenkins was the daughter of the late Charlie and Carrie (Eisenhower) Jenkins and was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Jimmy Ruel Maney, four brothers, Paul Jenkins, Leroy Jenkins, L.B. Jenkins, and Frank Jenkins, and two sisters, Virginia Eades and Ethel Johnson.
Mrs. Maney loved the Lord and her family. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends. Mary and her husband Jimmy managed and operated S&K Greenhouse. She was a caring and giving person and will be missed by those that knew her.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, October 19, 2015 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel conducted by Rev. Chad Jones. A visitation will be held from 1:00 - 2:00 pm Monday prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Cleveland Memorial Park.
