Regina Forner Roberts

   Mrs. Regina Forner Roberts, age 59 of Shelby, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.

   She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Don Roberts of the home, her children, Joe Roberts (Mary) of Gastonia, NC, and Evan Roberts (Peyton) of Shelby, NC, a grandson, Hank Roberts, a brother, Roger Forner of Shelby, NC, and a sister, Rene Forner Collins (Jason) of Lincolnton, NC.

   Born January 14, 1964, in Cumberland County, NC, Regina was the daughter of the late Raymond Cletis Forner and Lillie Jane Carlisle Forner.  Regina’s light of her life was her family.  She was a faithful wife, loving mother and mawmaw.  Regina raised two amazing sons.  She enjoyed cooking for her family (especially her famous sweet potato casserole), taking care of her animals, and most of all, playing with her grandson Hank.     

   A memorial service will be held at 4:00pm Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Cleveland Funeral Services.  A visitation will be held from 3:00pm – 4:00pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Hope’s Chest, 1042 Sam Lattimore Road, Shelby, NC 28152.
