Robert Bostic

Mr. Robert Bostic, 78 of Mooresboro, passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Katie Allen Bostic of the home, a step-daughter, Sharon Miley of Longwood, FL, two grandchildren, Stasha Leanne Fitzgerald of Longwood, FL and Justin Lee Blanton of Gaffney, SC, a sister, Grace Greene of Shelby, NC, and a brother, Albert Bostic of Texas.
Born May 20, 1939 in Cleveland County, Mr. Bostic was the son of the late Claude Irvin Bostic and Effie Lowery Bostic and was preceded in death by 14 brothers and sisters.
Mr. Bostic was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and served in the United States Army National Guard. He enjoyed watching westerns, fishing, and working in the garden where he was famous for his tomatoes. Robert was a member of the Masonic Lodge #388 in Boiling Springs for more than 50 years. Mr. Bostic was a loving husband, grandfather, and brother. He was the kind of person that would always put everyone before him and would help anyone in need. Robert loved spending time with his family and friends, especially his granddaughter Stasha that he loved dearly. Stasha was his "Sunshine" and would always bring a smile to his face.
Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Trinity Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Mike Frazier. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with military honors.
