Robert Weaver

Shelby - Robert "Robbie" David Weaver, age 47, of Shelby, NC, passed away April 7, 2017 at Baptist Easley Hospital.
Born March 28, 1970 in Cleveland County, NC, he was the son of Sandra McSwain James, Herby James and the late Clyde David Weaver. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a step-brother, Brian James.
Robert was a devoted husband, father, son and friend. He worked for Fastway Oil Change and was a champion bowler. He shared a lifelong passion with his dad, step-dad and son for building racecars and racing them. He was a very active member and deacon at Camps Creek Baptist Church.
Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 25 years, Tracy Weaver; his beloved son, Hunter Weaver; mother and step-father, Sandra and Herby James; step-brothers, Shawn James (Buffy), Brandon James (Jackie); mother-in-law, Mary Alice Brittain; brothers-in-law, Mark Brittain (Jeannie), Mike Brittain; sisters-in-law, Lisa Brittain and Angie Stockton (Tommy). He is also survived by a special aunt, Dottie McIntyre; special uncle, Danny Parris; special cousins, Ashley McIntyre, Danny Wayne Parris; ten nieces; five nephews; one great-niece; one great-nephew; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, April 10, 2017 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel with Rev. Buddy Morehead officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Cleveland Funeral Services after the service.
