Roger Roberts

Mr. Roger Larry Roberts, 67 of Shelby, entered his heavenly home on January 21st, 2017. He was the son of the late Joseph Franklin Roberts and Margaret Louise Dover Roberts. He had a long history in construction throughout Cleveland County and later retired from ABB.
In addition to his parents, two brothers, Joseph Franklin Roberts Jr. and Hubert Lee Roberts, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Linda Lovelace Roberts; daughter Christy R. Hamrick of Shelby, sons; Todd Roberts (Heather) of Baton Rouge, LA, and Shea Roberts of Shelby; 4 grandchildren; Cody Hamrick (Catherine) of Chesapeake, VA, Jacob Hamrick, Kayla Roberts, and Joshua Roberts all of Shelby; brother, Bobby Roberts (Carol) of Cherryville, and many loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends at Cleveland Funeral Services on Monday, January 23rd, 2017 at 6:00 with a memorial service following at 7:00 with Pastor Jimmy McKee officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby NC 28150.
