Sammy Phouangkeo

   Mr. Sammy Phouangkeo, age 62 of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024, at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

   He is survived by his wife, Chanhthida Phouangkeo of the home, his children, Ariana Phouangkeo of Raleigh, NC, and Andy Phouangkeo of Alpharetta, GA, two siblings, Vandy Chitdamrong (Rangsee) of Montreal, Canada, and Thongdy Phouangkeo (Kimlay) of Kings Mountain, NC.

   Born October 1, 1961, in Laos, Sammy was the son of the late Thit Pheng Phouangkeo and Phoumy Phouangkeo.

   Sammy was a loyal outstanding member of the team at Pioneer Motor Bearing Company.  He also is a very dedicated member of the Wat Lao Houeikeo Indharam in Kings Mountain. 

   A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel.
