Mr. Scotty Senters, age 69 of Pikeville, KY, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA.
He is survived by his son, Scotty D. Senters of Vilas, NC, two brothers, Tavie Senters and wife Terri of Greenville, SC, and Ronnie Senters of Smithers, WV, a sister, Pam Kushmeider and husband Bob of Gahanna, OH, a sister in law, Donna K. Barcus and husband Wayne of Grover, NC, a brother in law, Henry E. Nichols Jr. and wife Pat of Grover, NC, and a mother in law, Maxine Nichols, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born December 5, 1947 in Pikeville, KY, Mr. Senters was the son of the late Bobby and Creta Mullins Senters and was preceded in death by his wife of 22 years, Patricia Ann Nichols Senters.
Mr. Senters served in the United State Army during the Vietnam War. Following his Military service, Scotty worked and retired in May from Northrop Grumman as a Surveyor. Scotty was a loving husband, father, and brother. He enjoyed golf, riding his Harley, and spending time with his family and friends. He would always bring a smile to your face and will be missed by those that knew him.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Thursday, September 28, 2017 at Cleveland Funeral Services conducted by Rev. Henry E. Nichols, Jr. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Shelby.
