Shella Barnes

Mrs. Shella Marlene Barnes, age 56 of Grover, passed away Monday, December 24, 2018 at Wendover Hospice in Shelby.
She is survived by the love of her life, Ben Skeen of the home, two daughters, Lacie Hoyle and husband Rodney of Lawndale, NC, and Amanda Michelle Carter of Shelby, NC, grandchildren, Christian Haylee Alderson, Mackenzie Alderson, Landon Hoyle, and Larissa "Lulu" Hoyle, two sisters, Joey Barnes Phillips and Kay Barnes Calbert, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Born July 19, 1962 in Cleveland County, Shella was the daughter of the late J.D. and Mary McSwain Barnes and was preceded in death by two brothers, James Michael Wyatt and Gerald "Roundman" Wyatt.
Mrs. Barnes enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family and friends.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 7:00 - 8:30 pm on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel.
