Terri Martin

November 25, 1954 — April 19, 2018

Terri Martin passed away peacefully at Kearney Regional Hospital on April 19, 2018 in Kearney, Nebraska at 63 years of age. Born in Shelby, North Carolina to the late Clarence R. and Della Lail Kerr Tolleson, Terri is preceded in death by grandparents Eugene and Julia Tolleson, and Calvin and Julia Ann Lail, brothers C. Reid Tolleson and Thomas Kerr.
Terri is survived by husband, Leon Martin, and step daughters Amanda Lea Marlow and Lori Gayle Abbott, step grandchildren Steele McNeilly, Mattie and Tilley Abbott, of Casar, North Carolina, Sisters Maxanne Kerr Morrison of Suffolk, Virginia, and Lynn Tolleson Hughes of Fairfield, Virginia, numerous nieces and nephews.
Terri graduated from Shelby High School and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Since graduation Terri was a Registered Dental Hygienist in North Carolina practicing for several dentists across the state.
Terri loved God, participating in the church's' women's club, horses, fishing, camping, the beach, shag dancing and judging Barbeque as a KCBS Master Certified Judge in the Southeast and Midwest United States, but most of all, Leon.
In Lieu of flowers, donations are requested for the Anchor Church, PO Box 1642, Wilmington, North Carolina, 28402.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Monday, April 23, 2018 at Cleveland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 pm Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Cleveland Funeral Services.
