Jarrod Pilkey

Russell Jarrod Pilkey, age 50 of Grover, NC, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Mountain Lakes Medical Center in Georgia.

He is survived his sister, Kristin Boyd and husband Robert of Shelby, NC, a nephew, Garett Carver of Shelby, NC.  Born December 10, 1970 in Gastonia, NC, Jarrod was the son of the late Robert Wayne Pilkey and Vicki Harriss Pilkey.

Jarrod enjoyed playing his guitar and working on his “Hot Rod”.  He especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.  Jarrod was passionate about his beliefs.  Jarrod was the kind of person that would always put others before him.  He had a sense of humor that always brought a smile to anyone’s face.  Jarrod was a friend for life with anyone that he met.  “I love you and be careful” was his last words that he always told people before departing.

A memorial gathering will be held from 3:00pm – 5:00pm Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Cleveland Funeral Services Chapel.
