Jonathan Jordan

Jonathan Mark Jordan, age 55 of Shelby, passed away at his residence on Saturday, December 24, 2022.

He is survived by his children, Tyler Pruitt (Kevin) of Boiling Springs, SC, Tessa Jordan of Atlanta, GA, Victoria Jordan of Greenville, SC, and a grandson, Hayden Pruitt.

Born July 24, 1967, in Chambers County, AL, Jonathan was the son of James and Patricia Kirby Jordan and was preceded in death by a brother, Jim Jordan.

Jonathan was a loving father, grandfather, brother, son, and uncle.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, building, reading, and spending time with his family and friends. Jonathan was known for his hand laid stonework. He was a kindhearted man that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it.  Jonathan loved telling jokes and when told, he would have an infectious laugh. He was known to tell stories about his daughters and adventures during his time in the Navy.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00am Saturday, January 14, 2023 at St. John’s Chapel, 330 River Road, Westminster, SC, 29693.  A Military Service with honors will be held at 9:00am Friday, January 20, 2023 at Georgia National Cemetery, 2025 Mount Carmel Church Lane, Canton, GA 30114.
